MLS Program Director, Immunology, Management and Education, Director of HLA at TriCore Laboratories

I am the Program Director of the MLS Program at UNM and am excited to teach you about clinical immunology, clinical laboratory management, and molecular diagnostics. I have been a Medical Laboratory Scientist since 1988, and received my PhD in Immunology and Microbiology in 1994. I am also the Director of the Histocompatibility (HLA) Laboratory at TriCore Reference Laboratories. Hello! I’m a midwestern transplant that grew up in Chicago (north side), and moved to New Mexico in 1999. I have worked in Medical Labs since 1988, and have been teaching various health disciplines since 2006. I completed my M.S. in Clinical Laboratory Science at UNM in 2013.
