- Pathology Interests: Forensic Pathology, Surgical Pathology
- Research Interests: Anatomical Pathology
- Interests Outside of Pathology: I love kinesis and find joy in movement. I particularly enjoy running, swimming, and dancing. I love to listen to EDM (electronic dance music), particularly melodic dubstep. I also like to play chess, preferably a live opponent vs internet chess. And of course, there is also the accumulating pile of unfinished crafts at my place including origami, sewing projects, beading kits, knitting, and crochet.
Why I enjoy the pathology program at UNM
The residents are very supportive of each other, and the faculty devotes dedicated effort to providing protected, quality teaching time. There is also great financial support, as evidenced by the generous educational fund and funds for poster presentations. For me, the allure of this program too is the beauty of the mountains, the fresh air, and the innumerate trails to hike or run. Not to mention, the pathology program at UNM is a particularly active group with many runners, bikers, and hikers, fostering a healthy environment to learn and live.
