Veena Singh, M.D., M.P.H., Medical Investigator
Veena Singh, M.D., M.P.H., Medical Investigator, received her undergraduate degree from Willamette University and her medical and master of public health degrees from Oregon Health Sciences University. She completed two years of General Surgery residency at Swedish Medical Center, followed by four years of Anatomic and Clinical Pathology residency at University of New Mexico and one year of Forensic Pathology fellowship at the New Mexico Office of the Medical Investigator. Dr. Singh is certified by the American Board of Pathology in Anatomic, Clinical, and Forensic pathology and is a member of multiple professional organizations. The Department of Pathology welcomes Dr. Singh to the faculty!
Karen Cline-Parhamovich, D.O., Assistant Chief Medical Investigator
Karen Cline-Parhamovich, D.O., Assistant Chief Medical Investigator, is originally from Ohio where she earned her undergraduate degree from Kent State University. She earned her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from Ohio University. Following a one-year internship, she completed pathology residency at Virginia Commonwealth University/Medical College of Virginia, including one year as Chief Resident. She completed her Forensic Pathology Fellowship at the New Mexico Office of the Medical Investigator (OMI), followed by a year as Assistant Professor. Subsequently, she worked as the Director of Forensic Pathology at East Tennessee State University. She was appointed by the Tennessee Commissioner of Health as the first full-time State Chief Medical Examiner in the history of Tennessee and served in that capacity prior to returning to OMI. Dr. Cline-Parhamovich is board certified in Forensic, Anatomic and Clinical Pathology. The Department of Pathology welcomes Dr.Cline-Parhamovich to the faculty!
