MLS Program Director, Immunology, Management and Education, Director of HLA, TriCore Laboratories

I am the Immunology instructor and Associate Director of the Histocompatibility (HLA) Laboratory at TriCore Reference Laboratories. I also teach graduate and medical students, along with residents and fellows. I have been a Med Tech/Clinical Lab Scientist since 1988. My research interests are antigen presenting cells of the immune system. Hello! I’m a midwestern transplant that grew up in Chicago (north side), and moved to New Mexico in 1999. I have worked in Medical Labs since 1988, and have been teaching various health disciplines since 2006. I completed my M.S. in Clinical Laboratory Science at UNM in 2013. I have been a MT since 1986, when I completed the program at UNM. Most of my career has been as a generalist. I assist the faculty in the lab portions of the classes.
